We have had the warmest October ever - so when the forecast said blue skies, sunshine and 14 degrees C on October 28th I took the day off and went on a day trip to Sweden with my friend Frank and his wife Tina.
We had a great day - the colours of the leaves were fantastic. We left at 10:15 and were back 18:15 in the evening just as it got dark after about 300 km.
From 13-24 July 2005 I went on a motorcycle trip through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. From Estonia we took the ferry overnight to Stockholm, Sweden, where the trip ended after 12 days.
It's October 6 and the weather is almost too good to be true. No one can remember when it was so warm in October. About 18 degrees C.
So I took - another - day off to get out on the bike. To try something new I decided to go to Sweden. It's pretty easy now that they have built a bridge between Denmark and Sweden.
My friend Marc joined me on the backseat and we had a great day in the beautiful southern part of Sweden.
